about

Here's the debut song "This One Here" off of the full length album I'll be putting out this fall.

lyrics

Drivin's easy when the seats are taken,
Lighten your load and the wheels start shakin'.
Somewhere to be, but no one reading the map.
What's the point in tappin trees if you ain't boilin' the sap?

She said, "There's more than one kind of love,
and as for this one here,
I think I've had enough."
I thought there's only one kind of you,
but if that's true,
I ain't found the proof.

So I quit my ramblin' and I broke my back,
burned my skin to a roan sack.
Now I've got money to spend, but no one to hold,
Stuffing cash in the wall ain't gunna keep out the cold.

There's more than one way to make a livin',
and by the end,
I sure hope I'm forgiven.
There's more than one road to drive,
This one here,
It's keeping me alive.

Working hard it was hardly workin'
Traveling turned to lonesome lurking.
So I quite the fields and I put down roots,
but that don't mean I can't lace my boots.

There's more than one way to try,
but the trouble's been,
finding mine.
There's more than one way to lose,
I should know,
cause I've found a few.
